A development update with several parts

The June 5 update combined release and demo news with a closer look at Ashenridge and character customization. Its release window is now historical: the September announcement moved the planned launch to March 9, 2027. Read the current release record for present status, and this report for the world and character-design information shared in June.

Two districts with different roles

The Local District is described as a compact area where homes and shops share buildings. The update names a fortune teller, a bar and community gardens among its places. The Commercial District features S-Mart and a town square with a fountain, and is described in relation to Mayor Fitch’s tourism ambitions. These are public location descriptions, not confirmed shop inventories or opening schedules.

The customization plans

The team announced 35 unique wearables, 25 skin-tone options, clothing with 14 colorful options, and 18 hairstyles with 33 ways to color them. It explained that customization has to work across hand-animated character actions and multiple directions. The customization guide keeps the categories and their announcement date together without treating them as a final-build count.

What happened to the June demo?

The same announcement said the previously scheduled June 15 demo would no longer be released, with the team prioritizing the full game. It left a possible future demo dependent on studio capacity. An old event demo or trailer is therefore not evidence of a currently downloadable Steam demo. The official access guide separates historical demo appearances from current access.
